the more AA and AAA schools the more schools get pushed down to A level because of the equal 1/3. you add 5 AA schools someone will get pushed someplace to keep the equal 1/3 in place.

Who cares? Dump the 1/3 rule and the problem is fixed. Just let whatever is left play in a group of fair size. And the thing about it only popping up during football, check the basketball scores from the playoffs and get back to me. We can't help if the West wants to build schools they can't control. PS , I have a cousin that teaches near Richmond, (Henrico Co)so I ain't blowin' smoke.
Nobody said you were blowing smoke. TS and TV both made it to the Final 4. I know Clarke has way more students, but two really small schools from SWVA beat other schools who were probably bigger. Who all should be in the smaller classification?
Twin Springs always gets an exchange student that makes an impact. It takes 5 for basket ball and 22 for football, see the thing there?

Nothing is wrong with playing a bigger school as long as that school is in your division or higher. Its a laugher when you have schools in lower divisions that have a bigger enrollment than your school.
[/ QUOTE ] If you think you have a gripe, then Appy and JIB really do, playing schools that have 400 kids in the play-offs.
Foreign aid. Now that's something I can't argue with. I don't know if there will ever be a viable solution. In the meantime, let's just hope the little guys can pull out some big wins.
By the way, I had a great Uncle that had'em "cornered" in Dec 44, in Bastogne. If you are ever in my neck of the woods, I'll buy dinner. Yes , I know the 101st went one way and the 82nd went the other. But it was still paratroops.
Talk about old school. I wish I was half the man the old guys were. ALL THE WAY! My basketball coach at E&H was a LRRP with the 101st during Vietnam. That's how I chose my way.
Just missed Nam , too young. Had an uncle that did 2 tours as a flight engineer on the ole Huey. He is the one that instilled that, "If we ain't tryin' to kill'em let's go home" thinking in me. His opinion is the American public will never stand for war. Looks like he is right. I was good with the first couple of weeks , then we become traffic cops? Troops are warriors. That is what bogged Nam. Same in Iraq, the Iraqis won't fight. Anyway the LRRPs are wild. If you like to read Christian's Butchers and Guns Up are pretty good. Most guys that have seen service want nothing to do with them, though- and I don't blame them.

I don't happen to think the Barry Jones comment is bull. Offense sells tickets, defense wins championships. PV's loss to Manassas Park proves that point. I think there would have been a different outcome in that game had Jones still been on PV's sideline.

I wish Nick would let Jones take over as our Defense cor. Reed is alright but in my opinion is not getting the job done.
